Shivani Patel, MD

Dr. Shivani N. Patel completed her Diabetes and Endocrinology Fellowship from St. Luke’s University Health Network in Easton, PA. She previously served as Chief Resident in the Department of Internal Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where she also completed her internal medicine residency. She earned her Doctor of Medicine, from St. George’s University School of Medicine, following a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, magna cum laude, from Montclair State University. Dr. Patel has many contributions to medical research and clinical practice, receiving awards. Her research focuses on endocrinology new technologies and metabolic disease, with multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading medical journals.
In addition to her medical work, Dr. Patel is committed to helping her patients and treating them with utmost care and compassion to help patients achieve their goals. Dr. Patel is actively involved in community outreach and health fairs. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
