Neeti Goel, MD
Rheumatology
Dr. Goel is a board-certified rheumatologist with dual fellowship training in Rheumatology and Geriatric Medicine, bringing a comprehensive and holistic approach to managing complex autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions in adults of all ages. She completed her fellowships at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Goel has expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of rheumatologic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, pseudogout, lupus, Sjögren’s syndrome, scleroderma, vasculitis, sarcoidosis, and osteoarthritis. With her unique background in both specialties, she offers a nuanced understanding of the specific needs of older adults living with chronic inflammatory conditions.
Her interest in rheumatology was sparked by the diagnostic challenge of autoimmune diseases affecting multiple organ systems and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients. Deeply compassionate and committed to patient-centered care, she believes in listening carefully, explaining clearly, and empowering patients to take charge of their health through shared decision-making.
Dr. Goel is fluent in English and Hindi, and conversant in Spanish.
Outside of clinical practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, baking, and exploring nature—especially local trails and parks.
