Harold Stein, MD, FASN, FACP

Dr. Stein has been a practicing nephrologist for 37 years. He completed his medical residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Jacobi Hospital including a chief residency in 1980 and then completed a three-year Nephrology fellowship at Yale University where he was engaged in clinical and bench research. He practiced Nephrology at Abington Memorial Hospital for 35 years and served as medical director of the Davita Abington Dialysis Center from 1996-2017. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and of the American College of Physicians. He was listed as a “Top Doc” in the Philadelphia Magazine. Dr. Stein has published numerous articles in basic science as well as clinical research in numerous prestigious Nephrology journals. He has been a leading member of the Nephrology community in Philadelphia for many years as well as an educator of residents and medical students.
