Dr. Shahateet completed his fellowship in nephrology at the University of South Carolina Hospital. He completed an internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he also served as chief resident.
Dr. Shahateet has vast knowledge in nephrology including glomerulonephritis, renal replacement therapy, kidney stones, kidney cysts and hypertension. He is part of the teaching staff in Atlanticare Regional Medical Center residency program. Besides being a member of prestigious societies like American Society of Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation, Renal Physicians Association; He has multiple publications in reputable medical journals. Dr. Shahateet is a medical director at Davita Dialysis- Mays Landing, which provides multiple programs tailored and individualized to specific patient needs.
